EDUCATOR. LEADER. RESEARCHER.I'm a scholar on a mission to empower nurturers-- those who support children to the maturity in character and the fulfilment of their potential. Through my research, I highlight the relational dimension of education and the inner journey of nurturers.
Before returning to academia, I was a high school teacher in Hong Kong. And, as a former NGO leader, I couldn't help but bring about changes in my own classroom and beyond. My most recent venture, the Teachers Lead To Love podcast, is dedicated to motivate and inspire young teachers for survival, development and impact. Together, we learn the science of loving their students and master the art of leading confidently at school. |
I try to Learn, Love and Lead every day.
(and sometimes get far too excited about works of
Brené Brown, Sara Lawrence-Lightfoot and all kinds of picture books!)
On my perfect day, you'll find me slowly walking by the seashore, or enjoying a stimulating conversation in the cozy café next door.
I have a supportive community of Cantonese-speaking teachers that encourage, uplift and share their learnings with one another. The path to a better education system is no longer lonely with them, and I want you to be part of it! Join us here.
